How we use cookies
When you visit our website, we, including the companies we hire to track how our website is used, may place small data files called “cookies” on your computer. We send a “session cookie” to your computer when you log into your account or use the Jack Tristao Services. This type of cookie helps us to recognize you if you visit multiple pages on our site during the same session, so we don’t have to ask for your password on every page. After you log out or close your browser, this cookie will expire and will no longer have an effect. We also use more permanent cookies for other purposes, such as to display your email address on our log-in form, so you don’t have to re-enter your email address each time you log into your account. We encode our cookies so that only we can interpret the information stored in them. You are free to refuse our cookies if your browser allows it, but this may interfere with your use of our website. We and our service providers also use cookies to personalize our services, content, and advertising, measure the effectiveness of promotions, and promote trust and security. You may encounter third-party cookies when using the Jack Tristao Services on certain websites that are not under our control (for example, if you view a webpage created by a third party or use an application developed by a third party, a cookie may be placed by that page or application).
Google Remarketing
We use the Google Adwords Remarketing feature to serve ads on Google partner sites. This feature allows us to identify that you have visited our website and so Google can show our ad to you on different websites. Several third-party vendors, including Google, purchase advertising space on Internet sites. We eventually hired Google to display our ads in these spaces. To identify your visit to our website, both other third-party providers and Google use cookies, similarly to what is explained in the “How we use cookies” section. You can disable Google’s use of cookies by going to the Ads Preferences Manager. As we protect and store personal information throughout this policy, we use the term “personal information” to describe information that can be associated with a particular person and can be used to identify that person. We will not consider information that must remain anonymous so that it does not identify a particular user as personal information. We store and process your personal information on our computers and protect it under physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards. We use computer protections such as firewalls and data encryption, apply physical access controls to our buildings and files, and authorize access to personal information only to those employees who need it to fulfill their professional responsibilities.
